MEMBERSHIP VETTING
KGCHA VETTING PROCEDURE
Our Vetting process is a professionally conducted eligibility assessment procedure that is mandatory and must be carried out to every prospective entity. In our process we aim to establish the ability, legality and integrity of the applicants. The exercise is conducted by a professional committee called the vetting committee , headed by the vetting committee chairman and vetting members.
- Names of all directors and shareholders.
- Previous occupation of the directors
- Previous bankers
- Current Bankers
- Experience in shipping
- Name of principles to be represented, (at least one agency agreement between agent and principle is mandatory).
- Reason for joining the association and benefits experienced by the applicant
- Present physical location of office ( lease agreement is mandatory) and equipment.
Equipment Required
These are the minimum office setup equipment required
ICT Infrastructure
Computer and a fully fledged ICT infrastructure with recommended shipping software application in use.
Furniture
Proper office furniture is a basic requirement.

A working fax machine
Telephone
Atleast one working landline is required
